There is always a wine steward who is strolling in the dining room at night and is there to encourage you to try new varietals and producers or even rare vintages. Let them introduce you to dessert wines, port and cognacs.
The cellar at the Rainbow Lodge has been awarded the "Award of Excellence" by the prestigious Wine Spectator Magazine for many years. The list has also been awarded the "Top Ten Wine List Award" in Houston, by My Table Magazine. After more than 30 years of attention, this cellar features labels that will soothe anyone's palette and budget.
Every spring and fall we host our "Grand Food and Wine Pairing." Over 300 wine lovers attend this exciting event which often includes a band, outdoor seating, art shows, mouthwatering food and wine. This casual "walk around" tasting highlights a particular family or wine region each year. This gives you the rare opportunity to stroll on our grounds, sample an entire family of wine and taste some great food.
Join us the second Wednesday of each month for our "Patio Wine Series". These popular tastings are always super casual "sip and stroll" events, not formal dinners, in the Tied Fly Bar and on the back patios when the weather cooperates. Each month we feature a different group of wines.
